Monday was pretty rubbish, its never a great day of the week but I had a really early night Sunday (8pm!!), which sounds like a blessing but it was actually a curse cos I ended up waking up loads from about 3am. All you can do is wait to get home and get your munch on! One good thing was that after dinner I spent the evening buying tunes for the radio show I do on a Tuesday. Music sorts you out everytime, oh and a bit of Eastenders of course!
Mondays meal: Sausage and butterbean stew with runner beans
The previous sausage and butterbean casserole from last week got cooked for too long and ended up like a pasta sauce and was tomato based so going for a different approach I did this as a stew on the hob and used stock instead. Completely different and a definite winter warmer.
Please note: The Pet is super poor this week so has been supplied with food via the supermarket of Mam, therefore his scores will resume next week.
Fez’s score and comment:7.4/10 “too many beans, not enough sausage”
Final thought: He may have only had two sausages, however, please bear in mind that this meant he had two sausages (along with the remaining beans and stew juices) for lunch the next day. Far from the rationing days of ‘The Great Fuel Crisis of the Millenium’!
